Sophie was recently seen trying to save her marriage with Rob Warne, whom she moved to the United States from England to be with. Things didn’t work out, and Sophie ultimately chose to leave him on 90 Day: The Last Resort Season 2. Pedro, on the other hand, was featured on the franchise a few years ago with his ex-wife, Chantel Everett. They had a tumultuous relationship and were one of the most popular 90 Day Fiancé couples at the time.

Pedro asked Sophie what her dream first date was, and he reenacted everything she asked for.
After meeting a few times, Pedro invited Sophie to his home country of the Dominican Republic for his sister’s birthday. Sophie decided to turn the occasion into a girls trip, along with Liz Woods and Julia Trubkina. She felt it would be a good opportunity for Liz to mingle with some of Pedro’s friends, while Julia just came along for the ride. Sophie was excited to go and spend more time with Pedro, but she was nervous that they might have had different expectations for the trip.

When Sophie and her friends arrived, Pedro sent them a van that he and his friends had personally decorated. While Sophie thought it was sweet, it slightly overwhelmed her. She felt that Pedro was taking things too fast, while she was still just trying to get to know him. When they went out that night, Sophie admitted that she was still trying to heal from her relationship with Rob. This surprised Pedro, who thought that she had already moved on from it completely.
Sophie and Pedro went on another date shortly after, where they realized that they weren’t on the same page. Pedro explained that he was ready for a serious commitment, whereas Sophie emphasized that she wanted to take things slow. She told Pedro that if he met someone else who wanted a serious relationship, she didn’t want to hold him back. This confused Pedro, as he didn’t understand why Sophie came to the Dominican Republic if she didn’t want a serious relationship.
