Following the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files, Bill Gates has admitted to two affairs. Speaking to staff at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, which he founded with his ex-wife, the tech billionaire apologized for his association with the convicted sex offender.
Bill Gates confessed to having two affairs with Russian women

“I did have affairs,” Bill said at a staff meeting this week, per The Wall Street Journal. “One with a Russian bridge player who met me at bridge events, and one with a Russian nuclear physicist, whom I met through business activities.”
The Microsoft founder has been under the spotlight in recent weeks following the latest batch of Epstein files. Among the files were emails in which Jeffrey claimed to have arranged “sex with Russian girls” on Bill’s behalf. There was also a draft message that referenced a sexually transmitted disease allegedly connected to one of those encounters. The message included a discussion of administering antibiotics to Bill’s then-wife, Melinda French Gates.
There is no evidence that the mentioned emails were ever sent to Bill, and he has denied the allegations. Inclusion in the files is also not an indication of wrongdoing.
“I did nothing illicit,” he said in his speech to staff this week. “I saw nothing illicit.”
“To be clear, I never spent any time with victims, the women around him,” Bill went on, expressing regret over his past connection to the late financier.
“It was a huge mistake to spend time with Epstein,” he said, adding that he had brought Gates Foundation executives into meetings with the sex offender. “I apologize to other people who are drawn into this because of the mistake that I made.”
