Ghislaine Maxwell’s Prison Secrets Exposed by Inmate: ‘Horrible Personal Hygiene’

Ghislaine Maxwell’s perception behind bars might be on par with her public persona, disgusting. That may be a nice way to describe how many people feel about Jeffrey Epstein’s ex-girlfriend and apparent close confidante. Ghislaine is behind bars after being convicted on five sex-trafficking-related counts.

In prison, she is by no means living large by all accounts, nor does she seem keen to wash up. An inmate previously at the same facility as Ghislaine says that she had “horrible personal hygiene.” The woman only dished on this with the condition of anonymity. She was confirmed to be incarcerated at the FCI jail in Tallahassee, Florida, from 2023 to 2025.

Hygiene seems to be the least of Ghislaine’s concerns now. The anonymous former inmate who was in close circles with the disgraced woman tells TMZ that she would “shower once or twice a week.” Prisoners have regular access to shower facilities. They add that Ghislaine “always had BO.”

Last July, a video surfaced of Jeffrey’s ex breaking a sweat while running on prison grounds. The anonymous woman said that prison inmates had nicknamed Ghislaine “Chomo,” as in child molester.

While she serves her sentence, the families of some of her and Jeffrey’s alleged victims are speaking out. Virginia Giuffre’s brother, Sky Robert and his wife, Amanda, penned a letter to Ghislaine. Among the strong words they said was that Ghislaine deserves “to spend the rest of her life in prison.” According to Virginia the ex-Prince Andrew had been trafficked to her by Jeffrey and Ghislaine. She committed suicide last year.

Ghislaine was sentenced to 20 years in prison back in 2022. Jeffrey died while awaiting a trial of his own three years before that. In August, Ghislaine was sent to a federal prison camp in Bryan, Texas, to serve out the remainder of her sentence.
