On Rafael’s personal website, he also notes his “freelance jobs as an art director,” including “fashion campaigns, editorials, advertising, exhibitions, TV, theatre, and events.” Regarding what he does at Faena, Rafael describes that on his website as well. As he penned, he’s “in charge of materialising Alan Faena’s vision and work to improve the Faena district, which was created in collaboration with the incredible minds of Baz Luhrmann, Catherine Martins, Ximena Caminos, Juan Gatti, Rem Koolhaas, Foster, Oma, Francis Mallman, Paul Qui, and many more.”
On Instagram, however, Rafael’s outdoorsy, non-corporate lifestyle side really shines through. Here, he describes himself as an “adventurous traveler”, a “motivated climber,” and a “triathlete”. He also notes that he’s “resilient” with a healthy dose of “stoicism.” Socially, he’s friendly with many notable names, including Cher, RuPaul’s Drag Race winner Violet Chachki, Ute Lemper, Jaime Foxx, and Gisele Bündchen.
Rafael previously dated Luke Evans from Beauty and the Beast. Luke has since moved on with an entrepreneur named Fran Thomas.

Rafael and Luke confirmed their split in the early months of 2021. From here, our trail runs cold about his dating life. But earlier this month, images of Rafael and Pedro out and about in NYC sparked rumors that they might now be dating.
“Pedro Pascal and Rafael Olarra were snapped in New York City over the weekend…and we have pics of them linking arms on their way to grab a Sunday lunch,” TMZ reported. “The two dressed dapper as they checked out the Lower East Side, getting in a little sightseeing before their meal,” the outlet added. Several beats later, this same source snapped images of the men at the movies, catching a showing of Wuthering Heights.
Additionally, Just Jared also shared several images of Pascal and Rafael “linking arms.” Allegedly, the men had been hanging out in Manhattan’s Lower East Side neighborhood. And once spotted, they humbly stopped to sign autographs when asked.
As soon as TMZ went live with their reports, however, the internet rallied for Pedro, who often experiences extreme bouts of anxiety. On X, formerly known as Twitter, these fans flooded TMZ’s report with fitting comments, such as “Leave them alone,” and “Can we not normalize photographing strangers in public??”
Has Pedro Pascal spoken publicly about his sexuality?
To date, Pedro has never publicly addressed his sexuality. In fact, he’s managed to keep his entire personal life completely out of the public eye. Regardless, he remains a huge heartthrob for pretty much everyone, which is likely why this rumor is currently trending.
While Pedro has managed to stay silent on matters of his own heart, he has used his platform to speak out for others. His sister, Lux Pascal, is trans.
