The video showed the President alongside numerous Black celebrities, including 50 Cent and Oprah Winfrey. Charles is recalling one interaction he had with Donald years ago. Apparently, the President was boasting about his popularity. Specifically, he supposedly bragged about how one specific demographic feels about him in Donald’s eyes.

It’s a statement many people might disagree with, but one that the President apparently swears is true. Speaking on CNN NewsNight with Abby Phillip on February 11, Charles recalled a conversation he had with Donald.
Charles says that after introducing himself, Donald said to him, “Black people love me,” according to the journalist. Charles doesn’t believe the President knew who he was.
Charles’s reveal seemed to elicit a lot of laughter from the audience. Charles, however, was the consummate professional, continuing without a reaction. Donald bragged about his popularity among Black Americans, according to Charles. The President apparently also told him that Black Americans are the ones who encouraged him to run for office.
Perhaps Donald’s most famous Black supporter is Nicki Minaj. The rapper has often praised him during his time in office, speaking at a summit in his honor in January. The event was to promote the opening of his Trump accounts to help the American youth.
This revelation, revealed by Charles, will likely come as a surprise to many. A Truth Social post on the President’s account this year featured Barack and Michelle Obama as apes. Even some Republican politicians were outraged by this.
The President says that one of his staff members posted it. That person has not been disciplined or fired. Donald says it’s a video to explain voter fraud. That’s the now-debunked reason he believes he lost the 2020 Presidential election to Barack’s former Vice President Joe Biden.
