The trailer for Jury Duty Season 2 just dropped. This time, the innocent and completely naive subject is hysterically tagging along on an epic company-wide retreat.
Man, imagine thinking that you finally landed a job in this economy, with a fun vacation-like start to boot, only to learn that it was all a ruse. Bless. But hey, things worked out greatly for the Season 1 star, Ronald. He’s now easily recognized as one of the kindest, easiest-going souls on television thus far.
This time around, our unaware star is Anthony. And as the trailer teases, he’s about to be in for the ride of his life.
Jury Duty Season 2 arrives on Amazon Prime Video on March 20
In Prime Video’s recently released trailer, we finally meet Anthony. He’s just scored a temporary job with Rockin’ Grandma’s, a completely fake hot sauce business. This organization hired Anthony to help pull off their annual company-wide retreat, so off Anthony went.
In the trailer, we see Anthony meeting his new, zany colleagues. As for the drama this season, the employees are concerned. Originally, the owner of this company was considering handing the business down to Dougie, their dishelved, chaotic son. However, during this retreat, buyers appeared, leaving Anthony with several thoughts.
“If they think they can just come in and do whatever they feel like they wanna do, they’re in for a rude awakening,” Anthony said, once the potential buyers arrived. He’d already fallen hard for his improv-trained coworkers. “I care about y’all, he explained.
From “wasabi octopus” chips to horrifically funny motivational speakers and a talent show, Season 2 looks like a great ride. So, consider me seated.
