Candace Owens is throwing shade at Charlie Kirk’s widow and her mother. The political commentator took part in a new docuseries about Erika Kirk and who she believed she really is. Candace knew her husband from her days working for Turning Point USA, a political activist group.
Candace calls Erika and her mother, Lori Frantzve, social climbers who crave attention. According to the podcast host, even before Charlie’s assassination last September, Lori had encouraged her daughter to work a room and grab the spotlight. Erika has been interviewed by countless major TV stations since Charlie’s death.

The docuseries Bride of Charlie is another chapter in the shots fired at Erika. This time, though, Candace has what she believes is insight into why she thinks she’s an attention hog. In episode two of the show, Candace says that she’s heard from people that Lori is constantly in Erika’s ear.
One of Erika’s ex-boyfriends was apparently warned about the lengths Lori, and her daughter would go for fame. He told Candace that Erika would do “anything to get to the top and her mother would do anything to help her get to the top.”
While Lori may be pushing her along, according to Candace, Erika is a willing participant in the aim for fame. Several videos of Erika have surfaced since Charlie’s death, painting her in a negative light. They include an Amazing Race audition video done with ex-boyfriend JT Massey and one of her laughing days after Charlie’s assassination.
Erika, however, isn’t the only one generating some negative publicity. Candace was slammed by some for her participation in this docuseries. Many people have called it a hit piece against the mother of two. Candace leaked audio in January of Erika suggesting she was moving on too fast after Charlie’s death. It was recorded two weeks after he died.
