Connor Storrie could have a little extra support ahead of a big television appearance this weekend. The star of Heated Rivalry will guest-host the upcoming episode of Saturday Night Live. The man famous for portraying Ilya Rozanov in the show about two rival hockey players in a secret gay relationship might have a familiar face alongside him on Saturday.
His Heated Rivalry co-star Hudson Williams was recently spotted in New York City. Hudson plays Shane Hollander, the secret lover of Ilya, on the hockey show. Knowing he is in the Big Apple has led to more speculation about this weekend’s SNL episode.
Could Hudson Williams make a surprise SNL guest appearance?
Season two of their hit show is on the horizon. However, we may see Connor and Hudson together long before that. Rumors are swirling that he may be a part of a few sketches on SNL this weekend.
All we know about the next SNL episode is that Connor will host with Mumford and Sons the musical guest. If this week’s teaser is any indication, we might see Connor doing various dialects. The show released a video on Wednesday of Connor engaging in an epic accent duel with SNL cast member James Austin Johnson. In a rapid-fire segment, the two were asked to do several different dialects on the spot. Connor did everything from French, German, Russian and Mike Myers’ famous Scottish voice from Shrek.
Since the first season of Heated Rivalry came it seems none of the cast members have gained huge notoriety. Both Hudson and Connor have appeared on various big talk shows and made public appearances.
The two took part in the Olympic torch relay ahead of the 2026 Winter Games, which were recently completed in Italy. They both met Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney at an event in Ottawa days later.
Following Connor as SNL guest-host will be fellow Canadian Ryan Gosling next week, with Harry Styles hosting and being the musical guest the Saturday after that.
