The Vice President’s quest to tackle fraud has people scratching their heads. In a recent interview, JD Vance discussed the alleged fraud within the federal government.
That revelation is rather puzzling, seeing as President Donald Trump’s administration created an initiative last year called the Department Of Government Efficiency (DOGE). The belief is that JD “conveniently” forgot about this in the moment.
DOGE came about through a suggestion by the wealthiest of Donald’s friends, billionaire Elon Musk. The organization’s goal was to investigate claims of fraud, waste, and abuse within the federal government.
JD Vance is leading the “war on fraud”
The treachery of illegal aliens is to blame for Americans not getting the benefits they’re entitled to. That’s among the bold claims made by the Vice President.
In an interview with Fox News, JD says that it’s unfortunate “nobody has ever tried to take a systematic look at how much fraud there is in the federal government.” He alleges that there are billions of illegals on Medicaid, which is taking care away from American citizens. He also says that countless fraudulent daycare centres are being set up across the country.
Elon, the CEO of Tesla, was leading DOGE after donating $288 million to Donald’s campaign. It later quietly was wound down.
In his interview, JD said that there was no way to know the specifics of how much fraud there was because no one had bothered to look into it. The New Republic called this out.
JD’s supposed “war on fraud” is for some an excuse to punish Democratic states and those opposed to the President. The Vice President attacked Donald’s predecessor in office, Joe Biden. He accuses his administration of ripping off countless Americans during his four-year tenure in the White House.
The current Vice President may be developing a reputation for forgetting facts or perhaps suffering brain farts. In January, he talked about improving the economy, referencing the Titanic. He said, “You don’t turn the Titanic around overnight.” Apparently unbeknownst to him in that moment was the fact that the Titanic famously sank after hitting an iceberg.
JD has previously pledged that the entire administration would be part of the battle to end fraud.
