Kerry Washington delivered a masterclass in red carpet elegance at the 57th NAACP Image Awards Creative Honors. She turned heads in a sculpted black gown that blended classic glamour with modern edge.

The actress stepped out at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in a striking Georges Hobeika creation that hugged her frame to perfection. The floor-length black dress featured delicate white beaded piping tracing the bodice and skirt, accentuating her silhouette.

Most eye-catching of all were the two beaded straps that held the gown in place, forming a structured neckline that framed her shoulders and décolletage. A subtle slit and matching beaded trim along the hem added an extra touch of drama, while black platform heels completed the polished look.

Washington attended the Creative Honors portion of the NAACP Image Awards, which celebrates behind-the-scenes talent and untelevised categories across film, television, journalism, and literature. The ceremony highlights the technical and creative work that supports the entertainment industry and amplifies Black voices.

A longtime supporter of the NAACP, Washington spoke passionately about the power of storytelling. She emphasized that at a time when Black history faces challenges, telling stories that celebrate Black women and their excellence feels especially meaningful. Reflecting on her own awards journey, she admitted she once “blacked out” when her name was called, recalling how unexpected the win felt.

Beyond the awards stage, Washington remains busy. She stars in the Apple TV+ limited series “Imperfect Women”, premiering March 18, and also serves as an executive producer through her Simpson Street banner. She recently appeared in Netflix’s “Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery” and earlier this year took on an action-driven role in “Shadow Force”.

Fans quickly flooded social media with praise for her latest look. “THAT DRESS MS WASHINGTON ?,” one commenter wrote. Another added, “YOUR HONOR… She’s SERVINGGGG ????.”
