A Democratic political strategist is calling for transparency in government. Specifically, Jessica Tarlov isn’t convinced the President is completely blameless regarding the Jeffrey Epstein files.
She believes we should be hearing more from Donald Trump and his administration on that matter. Those files were supposed to be released in December, though only a small amount was released then. Some Representatives allege that Donald’s name is redacted in those documents’ countless times.
President Trump claims he’s been totally exonerated
Jessica isn’t convinced that the public has all the information about the Epstein files. That contradicts Attorney General Pam Bondi’s statement that those documents have now been released in full. Speaking on the Fox program The Five, Jessica said that Hillary Clinton’s questioning on Jeffrey’s sex trafficking scandal was part of a “sick GOP ritual fascination with humiliating this woman.” Jessica says that any honest Republican would admit that the former First Lady had nothing to do with that.
Donald says that it’s sad to see what’s happened in the royal family with former Prince Andrew’s arrest, among other things. He says he can speak about Jeffrey’s scandal now because, according to him, he didn’t do anything wrong.
Many would disagree with that, including Jessica, who notes that there are multiple pictures of Jeffrey, his ex-girlfriend and convicted felon Ghislaine Maxwell with Donald and Melania Trump. This raises red flags for her. Representative Thomas Massie is another one who doesn’t buy the notion that all the files have been released. The Republican believes that the President’s attacks on Iran are a tactic to distract people from the Epstein files.
Jessica also called out Donald’s Secretary of Commerce, Howard Lutnick, whom she believes should face severe consequences for his involvement in those documents. He previously served as a close aide to Jeffrey. Jessica warns Donald that when he’s out of office in 2029, he can be called to testify on the Epstein files.
