Britney Spears’ Ex-Husband Sam Asghari Reacts to DUI Arrest

Another one of Britney Spears exes is sharing his take on her arrest. Sam Asghari was discussing the situation in Iran when news broke that the pop star had been arrested for allegedly driving under the influence (DUI). The Iranian-born actor has been very respectful of her since their breakup, while previously stating that he only wishes her the best.

He appeared empathetic towards her when asked about her arrest in a recent interview.

Britney was reportedly pulled over late on Wednesday evening. She spent a few hours in jail after a toxicology test in the early morning hours of Thursday.

Sam Asghari and Britney Spears got divorced in 2024

Everyone is entitled to have their space. That’s the message being shared by Sam in the aftermath of Britney’s arrest.

In his recent appearance on the program Fox & Friends, the actor said, “When it comes to people making mistakes, I understand that, but I think everybody deserves privacy.” Sam and Britney married in 2022, signing a prenuptial agreement before their wedding. Their divorce was finalized in 2024.

Before her arrest, Britney went to the hospital so that cops could test her blood alcohol level. She was allegedly below the limit of 0.08, apparently coming in at 0.06.

This was something her first husband, Jason Alexander, pointed out on an Instagram Reel. He urged people not to rush to judgment following her arrest. The Seinfeld actor and the pop star were married for 55 hours before getting an annulment.

Reports indicate police were pursuing a BMW that was said to be driving erratically on Wednesday night. That allegedly led them to pull over Britney and eventually book her. She was released hours after her arrest but will have to appear in court in May.

Her representative, Cade Hudson, has said that her loved ones will support her through this and develop a plan to aid her.

TELL US – IF HER ALCOHOL LEVEL IS CONFIRMED TO BE BELOW THE LIMIT, COULD THAT EXONERATE BRITNEY SPEARS OF ANY WRONGDOING?
