Ex-Prince Andrew’s Arrest Costing His Daughters Their Image — Source

Ex-Prince Andrew’s daughters have reportedly been going through a tough time since their father’s arrest. According to a source, the shocking incident has allegedly been costing Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie their image. Although their royal titles were not stripped off like their parents’, the duo still have reportedly been struggling to choose between the royal family and Andrew.

For those unversed, the 66-year-old has lost his royal title and home, the Royal Lodge, due to his controversial past. But King Charles didn’t let it affect his nieces’ future.

Ex-Prince Andrew’s arrest is affecting his daughters’ lives ‘a great deal,’ per source

Ex-Prince Andrew’s arrest has reportedly affected his daughters’ lives as well. According to a PEOPLE report, King Charles has seemingly been “very fond” of his nieces. Despite that, the sisters have allegedly been treated differently. “They are tarnished by this. It has affected their lives a great deal,” a royal historian, Ingrid Seward, said.

She allegedly referred to the latest report that Beatrice and Eugenie had been banned from attending the Royal Ascot. It was said that Andrew’s daughters have not been invited to the upcoming spring event. In the past, they have always been part of the occasion.

Furthermore, royal biographer Andrew Lownie pointed out how Prince William has been dealing with the situation differently from his father. While Charles didn’t want to let Andrew’s deeds affect his daughters, the future king “wants it dealt with now.”

Reportedly, this has made things difficult for the sisters, making them struggle to choose between their loyalty to the throne and their parents. “They’re caught between a rock and a hard place over loyalty to their parents and their future,” Lownie told PEOPLE.

Earlier, a report featured royal expert Jennie Bond, who commented on the royal line of succession. She told The Mirror that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and his daughters should be removed from the succession order.

“I think to have William and his children, followed by Anne (bumping her up the order), and Edward is more than enough. So I would propose a complete shake-up of the succession order,” she claimed.
