In an Entertainment Tonight interview, Jennifer Lopez confirmed she is in what she calls her “happy era” in her life. When the interviewer brings up her idea of “protecting your joy,” Lopez explains what that looks like in her daily life, saying, “I call it my Happy Era because for the first time in my life, I feel very free.”
The singer adds, “I feel very joyful. I’m very aware of things that I, you know, have learned along the way. I’m very grateful.” She further emphasizes, “Just like I just wake up every day with a smile on my face,” continuing, “It’s a different life now than it was a few years ago.”
Lopez is gearing up for more shows in Las Vegas. In an exclusive interview with Extra TV, the artist shares that she has been deep in rehearsals for the return of her residency, telling Derek Hough, “We’re very excited,” and adding, “We’re doing the show again in Vegas and we’re there every weekend in March which is exciting and adding some new songs to the show.”
Lopez also describes what fans can expect when they see her live, calling it “the quintessential J.Lo show.” The musician adds, “I’m in my happy era and I have that in the show,” proving that she is showing up with gratitude and a better mindset in life, and she plans to bring that feeling to the stage as well.
