Keeping a disgraced former royal in the UK appears to be at the forefront of many people’s minds. The former Prince Andrew was arrested last month on suspicion of misconduct while in public office. While police investigate this matter further, many are calling for the father of two to surrender his passport.
Amid his previous ties to late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, it’s believed Andrew is seeking refuge abroad to avoid all the bad publicity. His brother King Charles evicted him from the Royal Lodge and removed him from all his royal titles.
Rumors of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor leaving the UK continue to swirl

Andrew is apparently doing what he can to avoid all the scrutiny surrounding him. In late February, Andrew and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, were reportedly wooing “Middle East billionaires” in the hopes of living an extravagant life. It doesn’t appear to be a possibility for either of them in the UK.
OK! reports that Andrew could try to flee to the Middle East or China, which is why there is an outcry for him to surrender his passport. Andrew has long denied any wrongdoing despite allegations against him.
Andrew reportedly has longstanding relationship with the country’s President, Mohamed bin Zayed Nahyan. “The absence of any move to secure his passport has not gone unnoticed within official circles,” a palace source told OK! They add that the Emirati leadership’s priority is in its economic and diplomatic partnerships with King Charles and the UK.
All of this continues to come amid reports that Prince William isn’t at all pleased with his uncle’s alleged extra-curricular activities.
Andrew’s arrest is the first of a sibling of a living monarch since that of Elizabeth I in 1554.
