Southern Hospitality couple Maddi Reese and Joe Bradley have been together since 2024. As they grow togeter, viewers will see their relationship becoming more serious in Season 4.
While it’s not unusual for couples to break up after exposing their personal lives on TV, Maddi’s not worried. Since they were longtime friends before they started dating, she thinks it gave them a solid foundation to build on. It was the best thing for their relationship.

“We don’t hide things from the camera,” Joe told People. “When we disagree … we’re not afraid to look each other in the eye … and overcome that. Everyone fights, everyone argues, everyone disagrees.”
“We’ve seen a lot of [Bravo] couples that we thought were amazing … and it didn’t really work out,” Joe added. “We’re going to stay true to who we are. We’ve just got to take it head-on and stick together.”
Neither of them was ever in a relationship with someone who was a friend first, and they both feel it’s strengthened them. “We’ve seen each other in other relationships,” Maddi shared. “We also worked together [at Republic Garden and Lounge] … so we learned how to communicate with each other.”
As for Joe, he’s figuring out what’s next in his life. “I feel like [Joe] goes through a lot of paths of, ‘I’m turning 30 … What am I doing with my life?’” Maddi explained. As a couple, “we also go through what’s next for us. I definitely think that buying a home and living together is our next step.”
“We’re not the type of couple that’s ever going to make a five-year plan,” Joe revealed. “But we are getting to that point where we’re like, all right, what do we do next?”
Looking toward a future together, the couple recently got a dog. Meanwhile, Joe’s focused on his career, his relationship and his family. “I feel like I got away with a lot in my 20s,” he shared. “And now, the reality’s hitting me pretty hard.”
