A break in the Nancy Guthrie case could be coming soon. That’s what a former SWAT commander believes despite the lengthy search for her, which thus far has come up empty.
According to Bob Krygier, though, more details about this alleged incident are bound to come out. What we know so far is that the mother of Today Show host Savannah Guthrie was reportedly taken from her home in Tucson, Arizona. A suspect description has been released as investigators review countless potential leads. Bob believes that something important will come to light about this sooner rather than later.
Nancy Guthrie has been missing since the end of January
Cracking the Nancy Guthrie disappearance case may be simpler than we think. Bob recently appeared on Nancy Grace’s podcast Crime Stories. He says that the key to breaking open this case will boil down to standard police work like “following up on leads” and “knocking on doors.” This, plus working closely with the public, he thinks, will aid in this matter.
For Bob, electronic and scientific evidence might be what ultimately solves this mystery. Nancy was last seen on January 31st, after having dinner with her daughter Annie. While he offered all the help possible in this case, Donald Trump seemed to adopt a different attitude towards it late last month. While speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One, he urged journalists to start “reporting on other topics” besides Nancy’s disappearance.
Savannah’s $1 million reward offer has led to thousands more tips to the FBI, though no suspects have been apprehended. Pat, however, is convinced someone is bound to speak eventually. “Someone knows who that person is,” said Pat, referring to the alleged kidnapper. He believes that money talks, which is where that massive reward may prompt someone to eventually come forward with concrete information.
