A renowned political commentator apparently wants nothing to do with Don Lemon. The journalist, who’s been extremely outspoken about the ICE killings, was arrested earlier this year. Don is facing charges of conspiracy to violate rights and of violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act.
His arrest garnered national attention with many expressing their disgust over the matter. Rachel Maddow, however, appears to have kept her distance from that story.
Don apparently has great respect for the host of The Rachel Maddow Show on MS Now. Reports suggest, though, that the feeling is not mutual.

Jimmy Kimmel was keen to have Don on his program, but Rachel not so much. A source tells RadarOnline that she did this intentionally because “Rachel doesn’t chase personalities.” They say that the man given the Edward R. Murrow Award honor years ago “can’t squeeze support from Rachel Maddow.”
This may come as a big disappointment for Don. Insiders say that he has always admired Rachel and has hoped to earn her admiration. Rachel apparently had the chance to book him on her show but decided against it.
In early February, shortly after his arrest, Don made a plea to journalists to fight back against President Donald Trump. The outspoken journalist had been put on notice by the President’s Department of Justice (DOJ) prior to his arrest.
Don has felt the wrath of Nicki Minaj for criticizing the ICE controversy. The strong supporter of the President and rapper has uttered homophobic slurs against the former CNN journalist online. For his part, Don has vowed to continue speaking on controversies despite his arrest. He pleaded not guilty to the charges against him.
