Eileen Gu channelled her inner fashion “It girl” in a coordinated Chanel set featuring a see-through micro miniskirt. The Chinese-American Olympian was sitting front row at the label’s Fall/Winter 2026 fashion show on March 9. The last time she appeared at the Paris Fashion Week was two years ago, when she attended Louis Vuitton’s Fall 2024 show.
Eileen Gu takes Chanel PFW show by storm in chic see-through micro miniskirt
Eileen Gu sat front row alongside Margot Robbie, Teyana Taylor, and Oprah Winfrey, at Matthieu Blazy’s third womenswear presentation. The freestyle skier opted for Look 57 from Chanel’s Métiers d’Art Spring 2026 collection. The ensemble featured a long-sleeved cardigan and a matching miniskirt, and the fabric highlighted an abstract, swirling black-and-white tweed pattern.
The cardigan was finished with black tweed trim along the collar, cuffs, hem, and pockets. The same trim also sat at the hem of the skirt. Instead of the interlocking “Cs,” this cardigan featured signature buttons running down the center as they spelled out CHANEL. For her footwear and handbag, Gu took a different route than the Métiers d’Art model, who had worn black slingback pumps and carried a brown briefcase.
The 22-year-old wore black pumps with white captoes and opted for a black and white quilted Chanel flap handbag to match the monochromatic palette of her outfit. She kept her accessories minimal with a pair of metallic stud earrings. Her hair was styled in a sleek, middle-parted blowout with soft waves at the ends, tucked behind her ears to highlight her face. Meanwhile, her glam was simple, featuring a winged eyeliner, a glossy pink lip, and a hint of rosy blush.
While Gu has previously modelled for labels like Tiffany and Co. and Louis Vuitton, this season she chose to sit this one out. This is not her first appearance at the Paris Fashion Week 2026. On February 22, she joined a contingent of stars at Prada’s Fall Winter runway show as well.
