A child actor has Ozempic to thank for her new physique. Amanda Bynes was recently seen out in public looking considerably slimmer with her boyfriend in Los Angeles.
The What a Girl Wants star was running errands with her man on Tuesday, dressed in white and wearing black-and-white adidas shoes. She had lost close to 30 pounds thanks to Ozempic. The injectable medication is designed to help people with type 2 diabetes but is also prescribed to reduce cardiovascular risks.
Amanda and boyfriend Zachary Khan made a rare appearance
Amanda’s new and improved look may reflect how effective Ozempic really is. She and her boyfriend, Zachary Khan, were spotted leaving a Goodwill store together on Tuesday. The 39-year-old actress had her bleached blonde hair pulled back, and you could see the huge weight loss she’d undergone.
Last June, Amanda shared with fans that she would be taking the weight-loss injectables everyone is talking about. Her new figure is a drastic change from where she was two years ago. In 2024, she shared how her depression caused her to gain 20 pounds.
Back in April 2025, Amanda raised eyebrows by revealing she’d started an OnlyFans account. She explained that she wouldn’t be sharing any sleazy content on her page but would use the DM feature as an opportunity for fans to chat with her.
Over the years, Amanda has had her share of head-scratching moments and personal issues. In 2023, she admitted to getting excess skin surgically removed from her eyelids. She also added some tattoos to her appearance last May. Amanda has previously shared about issues with substance abuse and mental health, which have been well-documented in the media before. Amanda had been under a conservatorship from 2013 until 2022. The last film she performed in was Easy A in 2010.
