The singer showed a slight glimpse of the infant and announced that she and her boyfriend, Beau Minniear, are now parents to her second child, whom they welcomed on March 6. In the photo, Goulding wrote, “On Friday, I gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby girl. We are totally obsessed with her.” Moreover, she remarked on the timing of her delivery, adding, “It was fitting that I spent International Women’s Day with her and the incredible female team at St Mary’s, who provided me and my baby with extraordinary care and kindness.” Goulding also gave a shoutout to the midwives, writing, “I will always be in awe of midwives.”
Additionally, the pop star observed that this has been a happy change for her whole household, especially her son, saying, “This addition to my family fills me with so much joy, especially as Arthur is so so happy to become a big brother to this little angel.” Finally, she tagged her boyfriend before ending the message with white heart emojis.
Besides the announcement photo, Ellie Goulding posted a few snapshots from bringing the baby home, including a cake decorated with the words “baby sister” along with decorations that were all dedicated to the little one.
