Jenna Dewan’s Daughter Is ‘Starting To’ Understand the ‘Step Up’ Hype

Jenna Dewan‘s daughter understands the hype around “Step Up” better than she did when she was younger. Dewan shares her 12-year-old daughter, Everly Elizabeth Maiselle Tatum, with ex Channing Tatum. In a recent interview, the actress-dancer gave an update on her kids.

Jenna Dewan’s daughter is finally ‘starting to’ understand the hype around ‘Step Up’

During her appearance on “LiveKellyandMark” on March 9, Jenna Dewan revealed whether her daughter understands her standing in the dance community. She said, “Starting to a little bit. You know, people come up, and now Step Up is to her people, ‘We love the movie Step Up.’ When she was a kid, I tried to show her and she goes, ‘Um, this is really boring. Can we watch something good?'”

Everly has changed her mind since, as she now seems to understand the hype about the film. Dewan continued, “Now I show it to her, and she’s like, ‘Oh, okay. Now I see what people talk to you about, for you know with dance,’ and it is cuz she’s into dance, so it’s brought up a lot.”

The “The Rookie” star also shared that her girl still finds her cool, but that might change when she turns 13. Dewan and Tatum welcomed their baby girl into the world on May 31, 2013. Host Kelly assured her that the kids come around when they get older.

Dewan also shares son, Callum Michael Rebel Kazee, and daughter, Rhiannon Lee Kathryn Kazee, with fiancé Steve Kazee. In the interview, she shared that Callum is into sports. “Everything sports. We are. If it can be kicked, thrown, hit. I mean, we are 12 hours a day. He never stops. He’s like the Energizer.”

When Kelly enquired whether the former Come Dance with Me judge goes to many sporting events, Dewan confirmed that she does, stating she is a “baseball mom” and has been a “basketball mom.”
