Jenna Dewan Spills Her Toddler Is ‘The General’ & Scares Her a Little

Life at home is getting a bit rowdy for Jenna Dewan. The actress and dancer recently sat down on “Live with Kelly and Mark” to give fans a hilarious update on her family life. While she is a busy mom of three, it seems there is one person truly running the show. Dewan admitted that her youngest daughter has officially taken over the household, proving that even a Hollywood star has to answer to a toddler.

Jenna Dewan’s toddler is the ‘boss of the house’: ‘Honestly a little scared of her’

During her interview, Jenna Dewan opened up about the distinct personality of her youngest child. While her older children, Everly and Callum, have their own routines, the toddler has carved out a space as the ultimate authority figure.

“She’s the boss of the house. I… did not know,” Dewan laughed while describing the household dynamic. She explained that the little one has no trouble making her demands known to the rest of the family. “She will get her attention. She will scream for us. She is like, ‘this is what I want’ in our face.”

The “Step Up” star joked that her daughter’s assertive nature is actually quite impressive, if not a little intimidating. Jenna even admitted that she often finds herself following orders just to keep the peace.

“Mom, Callum… Like, I, I, I’m honestly a little scared of her,” Dewan confessed to Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos. “I’m going to go, you’re going to maybe rule the world. I’m not. Yeah. She’s just, she’s the general.”

Despite the “scary” leadership style, Dewan couldn’t help but gush over how adorable her little “General” is. As photos of the toddler appeared on screen, shepointed out the contrast between her daughter’s tough attitude and her sweet face. “She’s the general. And she’s so, look at her. I mean, she’s so cute,” she added. It seems that for the Dewan household, the “toddler years” are less about terrible twos and more about a tiny, cute “dictatorship”.
