Donald Trump Called Out By Joe Rogan Over Iran War

Renowned podcaster and former television host Joe Rogan has come out to condemn Donald Trump’s decision to go to war against Iran, despite having advocated for him in the past. Rogan, who runs the most-streamed podcast on Spotify, questioned the Republican President’s approach regarding the Middle Eastern conflict, going as far as to label the attack on Iran “senseless.”

The UFC color commentator recently discussed the government’s handling of global affairs in recent times with journalist Michael Schellenberger. During the conversation, he specifically questioned the POTUS’ strategy to deal with the Venezuela and Iran issues.

“Neither thing made sense to me, the Venezuela thing…but that one was at least clean. They go in, kidnap [Venezuelan president Nicolás Maduro], get him out. This one’s nuts, like what’s happening in Tel Aviv,” Joe Rogan remarked on the March 10 episode of The Joe Rogan Experience.

Rogan then shifted focus to Donald Trump’s controversial decision to wage war against Iran, noting, “It just seems so insane based on what he ran on. I mean, this is why a lot of people feel betrayed, right? He ran on no more wars, end these stupid, senseless wars, and then we have one that we can’t even really clearly define why we did it.”

As such, the actor/comedian has become the latest Trump sympathizer to call out his military operation in the Middle East. Rogan had previously invited the businessman-turned-politician on his podcast, indulging in an almost three-hour-long conversation before the 2024 elections. He even championed Donald Trump before the said presidential elections via an X (formerly Twitter) post.

“[Elon Musk] makes what I think is the most compelling case for Trump you’ll hear, and I agree with him every step of the way. For the record, yes, that’s an endorsement of Trump,” Joe Rogan noted in his post while sharing his interview with the Tesla CEO. Furthermore, the podcaster attended Trump’s inauguration last year.
