If you don’t listen to Jeff Lewis Live on SiriusXM, then you probably had no idea that Mercedeh Javid from The Valley: Persian Style is in a feud with Jamie Kennedy, the dude who once starred in the Scream movies.
They’re both regulars on Jeff Lewis’ show, which is known to be a breeding ground for drama. Things took a nasty turn between the two after Jamie used MJ as his real estate agent. When the two appeared together on the radio show, things got testy.
Jamie called MJ “disrespectful” and “kryptonite”
The drama between Jamie and Mercedeh popped off during the March 5 episode of Sirius XM’s Jeff Lewis Live. Jeff was ready to start the second hour of his daily show with some casual small talk. Jamie, on the other hand, was ready to pounce on Mercedeh like a Real Housewife at a reunion.
“I don’t like her,” Jamie began, leaving Jeff a little caught off guard.
Jamie continued, “She’s disrespectful, not thorough, and completely — this is called accountability. Accountability is your kryptonite. I’m not gonna do small talk. You two can laugh all you want. You can laugh all you want. Because everyone knows that’s a bullsh*t cover.”
According to Jamie, his real estate relationship with Merecedeh went downhill after she helped him purchase a $3 million home in Los Angeles. Those Scream residuals are clearly rolling in nicely, but he felt like Mercedeh left him hanging after they closed on the house.
Jamie detailed a few loose ends that he wanted her to help him with, including forwarding the previous owner’s mail and helping with a lockbox that wouldn’t open. He felt like Mercedeh wasn’t being communicative, and when he asked her to share the listing agent’s phone number, she still didn’t come through for him. He also claimed that squatters were occupying the house when he was in escrow.
On Jeff Lewis Live, Merecedeh hit back at Jamie’s claims and accused him of throwing a temper tantrum. She said he had been a “demeaning” and “disrespectful” client.
“[He’s] mistreating me the same way he mistreats other women in his life,” she said.
Miraculously, these two were able to make it through the remainder of the taping. The tension didn’t taper, though, especially as fans called into Sirius to offer their takes on the real estate drama.
Meanwhile, Jeff was sitting back, probably kicking his feet under his desk with excitement. This type of on-air drama is why his radio show has been greenlit for years to come and will be highly featured on his upcoming Bravo series, Still Flipping Out.
