A political commentator is exposing an apparent text Charlie Kirk sent about Meghan McCain. Candace Owens posted a supposed text message where the former CEO of Turning Point USA (TPUSA) allegedly blasted the daughter of late Presidential candidate John McCain.
Candace previously served as Charlie’s communications director. She claimed to be very close to Charlie, who was assassinated at a rally in Utah in September. Based on her recent social media post, Charlie and Meghan might not have been good friends.
Charlie Kirk allegedly referred to Meghan McCain as a “piece of sh*t”
Candace Owens loves to bring the heat, and for now, she’s taking aim at Meghan. On her X account, she shared a text that she claims Charlie told her about Meghan. “Meghan McCain is a piece of sh*t,” read the alleged message. Meghan responded, asking not to share the messages of dead people. She went on to say, “You absolute psychopaths.”
Meghan’s response may not have been an admission of guilt, but rather a reference to a far-right provocateur, Milo Yiannopoulos. Milo had apparently shared some texts claiming conservative commentator Ben Shapiro had been organizing “hit jobs on TPUSA a decade ago.”
Ben and Candace have a history that did not end well for Candace. The two previously co-hosted a podcast together. There were reportedly ongoing tensions between the two before Candace’s termination in March 2024. Candace had made some alleged antisemitic remarks during her time with The Daily Wire.
Since Charlie’s death, Candace has publicly called out numerous people close to the political activist. Among them was Charlie’s widow, Erika Kirk and her mother, Lori Frantzve. Candace accused the two of being hungry for fame. She slammed the two in a docuseries titled Bride of Charlie.
