Selling Sunset’s Chelsea Lazkani Reacts To Firing Report: ‘Seems Like Someone Planted It’

Rumors are swirling about the Selling Sunset Season 10 cast. Last week, we learned that Christine Quinn was in the process of signing on the dotted line to make her big return to Netflix. That same report claimed that Chelsea Lazkani and Nicole Young had been fired as part of a major cast shakeup.

While fans reacted to the news of Christine’s return, Chelsea hit back about the rumors of her firing. According to her, there’s more to the story.

Season 9 of Selling Sunset ventured into toxic territory, with Chelsea and Chrishell Stause largely on the outs with the group. Once the season wrapped, Chrishell announced her departure, while the rest of the cast remained in limbo.

Us Weekly then came along and dropped the bombshell reveal about Christine coming back. They claimed Netflix paused production on Season 10 just to give her time to sign the contract, all while sending Chelsea and Nicole to the unemployment office.

As those headlines sank in, Chelsea took to Threads with a reaction. She shared several shady posts about the casting news.

“If you plan on firing me, do it loudly and proudly and state the reason. If I decide to leave on my own accord, I’ll make that clear as well,” Chelsea wrote in one post.

“Don’t believe anything unless it comes from me myself, I don’t talk to Press,” she added in a follow-up.

According to the original report about the Selling Sunset Season 10 cast, Christine and a newbie named Tara Sarbaz will replace the three departing cast members. However, Chelsea’s posts on Threads seem to cast doubt on all of that reporting

“Don’t come with games, disrespect, or weird behavior,” Chelsea wrote in another post.

She concluded, “All this fake information circulating about me leaving Selling Sunset seems like someone planted it.”

There’s no word on who Chelsea suspects planted these stories. Regardless, we’ll stay on the lookout for official casting news from Netflix. Until then, it’s probably best to take all of this with a big grain of salt.

Selling Sunset is streaming on Netflix.
