Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift did not attend the Oscars 2026, likely because they weren’t nominated or presenting. The “Opalite” crooner last attended the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party a decade ago, in 2016. The Chiefs tight end attended the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party a couple of years back, in 2023 (via Elle).
Both artists boast thriving careers in their respective fields. Swift has been nominated 58 times over the course of her long music career at the Grammy Awards. Notably, the pop titan has bagged 14 Grammys throughout her illustrious career. Kelce, on the other hand, is an NFL star. The 36-year-old tight end has won three Super Bowls with the Kansas City Chiefs during his 13 seasons playing football.
Moreover, he recently announced his decision to play his 14th NFL season after months of speculation over his retirement. Kelce credited his fiancée for encouraging him to return to the game after a disappointing last season, and revealed how watching her be on top of her field inspired him to continue playing.
He revealed on The Pat McAfee Show, “Without a doubt, without a doubt. We share the same love for what we do, and fortunately, we’ve had this desire since we were kids in our selective professions.”
The 36-year-old TE also confessed that Swift’s flourishing career inspired him to return to the Chiefs with renewed vigor and enthusiasm. Kelce shared that his partner’s quest to be ambitious and curious motivated him to do the same. The New Heights podcaster shared, “It’s just amazing to see her keep going to the table. Keep finding new things to write about. Keep finding new melodies and things like that. And on top of that, still seeing her have that love and joy in what she does, of course, that’s motivating.”
He continued, “That’s motivating for anyone to see, let alone, you know, [me watching] my fiancée and knowing that I’m going through something where I’m trying to figure out exactly what the future holds for me. Something like that motivates me to say, ‘I’m not done either.’”
