The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Taylor Frankie Paul has recently found herself surrounded with controversy. One week before her season of The Bachelorette is set to premiere, news has broken out of domestic violence allegations between Taylor and her ex, Dakota Mortensen. Both Taylor and Dakota have accused the other of domestic violence, and things have gotten serious. The allegations have even caused filming of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 5 to come to a halt.
One of the most shocking parts of the allegations on Dakota’s side is his claim that Taylor called him 150 times in one night. While this is already a surprise, the circumstances make the news even more of a shock.
The alleged calls took place after filming on The Bachelorette
Reality Steve posted a screenshot of the calls that was sent by Dakota’s roommate. The screenshot shows 33 missed calls from Taylor at 2:02 am. She then sent a FaceTime Audio call at 2:05. At 3:44 am, another 118 incoming calls were made. This totals 152 calls over a 90-minute time period.
The calls were made in January, which Reality Steve reports was one month after The Bachelorette filmed. When Taylor was announced as the Bachelorette, some viewers suspected she still wasn’t over Dakota. While we don’t know what the motive was behind the calls, it seems that viewers may have been correct in their suspicions.
Despite all of the allegations against Taylor, her Bachelorette season is still slated to air next week. However, her future on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives could be in jeopardy.
The Bachelorette and The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is available to steam on Disney +/Hulu.
