A Baywatch Star took her animal activism to another level. Alexandra Paul was arrested with about 19 others on Sunday, March 15 for trespassing on a farm and freeing dogs.
This incident occurred at Ridglan Farms in Blue Mounds, Wisconsin. This is not Alexandra’s first animal activism arrest.
Alexandra Paul was “removing numerous dogs” from a farm

Between 50 and 60 protestors illegally trespassed onto the property, a press release stated. Dane County Sheriff’s deputies and police from nearby Wisconsin precincts responded to the incident.
Alexandra and other protestors allegedly broke into the property and removed many canines. The farm is one of two U.S. large dog breeders that conduct scientific testing on the animals.
“The Dane County Sheriff’s Office understands how deeply people feel for the beagles at Ridglan Farms, and we respect their right to express that passion through peaceful protests,” Sheriff Kalvin Barrett said. “Our role is to keep everyone safe and to respond when unlawful activity takes place.”
According to the sheriff, those concerned about animal well-being or research should “engage through lawful and constructive avenues.”
The police seized burglary tools and other evidence at the scene. Although some dogs are still missing, beagles were recovered and brought back to the farm.
Following an animal welfare investigation, Ridglan Farms will turn in its Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection (DATC) breeding license no later than July 1.
This is not the actress’ first brush with the law. Alexandra’s arrests include a slaughterhouse sit-in in 2017, a civil disobedience arrest at Sunrise Chicken Farm in 2018, a 2019 arrest for peacefully protesting at Petaluma, Calif.’s Reichardt Duck Farm and a 2020 run-in with the law after rescuing a pig from a Farmer John slaughterhouse in Vernon, Calif.
