Keith Urban might feel like he’s dead to his teenage daughter. At least that’s the suggestion after Sunday Rose failed to mention her famous father in a recent interview. The country superstar recently finalized his divorce from Nicole Kidman.
Sources say Keith is “numb,” and that the 17-year-old had glowing remarks about her mother while not even mentioning him. Keith and Nicole were married for nearly two decades. Things between the two apparently broke down this past summer, leaving the actress no choice but to file for divorce.
Keith Urban is “trying to put on a brave front”

The backlash of his highly publicized divorce is hitting Keith like a ton of bricks. Australian news outlet New Idea said on Monday that the Grammy Award winner is “trying to put on a brave front.” His omission by Sunday reportedly made Keith feel “like he doesn’t exist.”
Various theories have been tossed around about why Keith and Nicole split up. In October, the speculation was that Keith was going through a midlife crisis, which led to the breakup. Many point to some of his curious decisions made last year, including firing a band he’d been with for 25 years.
Sunday had plenty of great things to say about Nicole, saying she is her “biggest inspiration in … life.” She went on to tell Elle Australia that the Oscar-winning actress was critical to everything she does.
Nicole and Keith’s divorce was finalized in January, with the couple waiving their rights to spousal and child support. Sunday is the oldest of their kids, with their other daughter Faith Margaret born two years after her. Keith had struggled with drug and alcohol problems in the mid 2000s, going through rehab to help with his addictions.
Later this month, Keith will be on the road for his High and Alive World Tour. Meanwhile, Nicole’s latest movie, Practical Magic 2, is in post-production and will premiere in September.
