Prince William Makes ‘Very Firm Decision’ on Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor

Prince William is reportedly taking a firm stance on Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. As the investigation tied to Andrew’s February arrest continues to generate headlines, the Prince of Wales has made a “very firm decision” about keeping his uncle away from Kate Middleton and their children.

At the heart of the issue are accusations that Andrew shared confidential information with Jeffrey Epstein while working as a British trade envoy. Andrew has denied the claims, but the investigation has reignited tensions inside the royal family.

According to a March 15 report in Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice Substack, the Prince of Wales has decided the disgraced royal will not be allowed around his family again.

A royal insider said the decision leaves little room for debate. “That door is completely closed,” the source said.

William and Andrew have reportedly had a strained relationship for years, but insiders say things have deteriorated further following Andrew’s recent arrest.

Authorities began examining whether Andrew shared confidential information during a 2010 Southeast Asia trade tour. Emails reportedly suggested he sent reports from the trip to Epstein, prompting Thames Valley Police to launch an inquiry.

Behind the scenes, William’s focus appears to be firmly on his wife and children. One insider explained, “William’s priority is protecting Catherine and the children. He doesn’t want them anywhere near the controversy surrounding Andrew.”

Andrew has since relocated from Royal Lodge to Sandringham Estate after King Charles stripped him of his royal titles and honors. Even so, William reportedly plans to keep his distance if his uncle appears at any royal gatherings.

“If Andrew is present, William, Catherine and the children won’t be,” the insider explained. “It’s that simple.”

The divide may stretch even further into the future. One source claimed William already has strong feelings about how major royal moments should unfold.

“When the time eventually comes for King Charles’s funeral, William does not want Andrew there,” the source alleged.

As another insider put it, “Catherine and the kids come first. Andrew is out of their world for good.”
