The Real Reason for Southern Hospitality Star Grace Lilly’s Latest Arrest Revealed

It turns out that Grace Lilly’s recent arrest didn’t come out of nowhere. It appears to be linked to the Southern Hospitality star’s previous arrest. Lab results have found that pills in her possession during her December run-in with the cops contained clonazepam. It’s illegal to have this medication without a valid prescription.

Grace was arrested last year due to an illegal lane change and a warrant out for a second-degree harassment charge. While speaking to the cops, what she referenced as “happy pills” were found in her purse.

According to TMZ, the lab results on these so-called happy pills came back and showed that the 12 white pills contained clonazepam, often sold under the street name Klonopin. This is a controlled substance often prescribed for anxiety and seizure disorders.

It is illegal to possess this medication without a prescription. Because of this, the police drafted an affidavit, and a judge signed a warrant. This is what ultimately led to Grace’s second arrest on March 10.

So that makes two arrests in the past three months for Grace. News outlets also reported that Grace’s struggles with substance abuse will be playing out in the newest season of Southern Hospitality. No details have been released yet about how, but viewers will get a deeper look as her storyline unfolds.

For now, fans are seeing her enjoy her time with the Republic crew despite lingering tensions within the cast. There haven’t been any revelations about Grace yet, but it’ll probably only be a matter of time before the cracks start to show.

Southern Hospitality airs every Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo. It can be streamed on Peacock.
