The Bachelorette and Taylor Frankie Paul Lose Collab Amid Abuse Allegations

Taylor Frankie Paul’s run as The Bachelorette debuts at the end of this month. However, after filming, Taylor went back to Utah, where she fell into a rather heated argument with her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen. The police were called, and now that domestic abuse charges are on the table, Taylor and The Bachelorette have just lost one of their collabs ahead of Season 22’s release.

Cinnabon has cut ties with the ABC show and its lead

Just a few days ago, Cinnabon posted a collaboration with The Bachlorette and Taylor’s other series, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. Regarding this collab, the baked goods company penned, “Here for the right bite. Secrets in every sip. Savor the most irresistible TV lineup with Cinnabon’s Perfect Pair, featuring the new Swirled Sodas now available at participating bakeries.”

Then, Cinnabon urged, “Catch the new season of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives now streaming on Hulu, and don’t miss the premiere of The Bachelorette on March 22nd at 8/7c on ABC and stream on Hulu.” But only a few beats later, news broke that painted Taylor in a lesser light.

As headlines voiced, Taylor and Dakota engaged in a heated, reportedly physical altercation once Taylor returned to Utah. After, both parties accused the other of domestic abuse. So now, both parties are under an active investigation in Drapper City, Utah.

That saying, “Bad publicity is still publicity,” is not one that Cinnabon apparently agrees with. Because, according to TMZ, they have just cut ties with Taylor and her series. As they reportedly said, “Recent developments and allegations surrounding the lead cast member led us to reassess this collaboration as it no longer aligns with our brand values.”

The Bachelorette Season 22 premieres March 22 at 8/7c on ABC. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is streaming on Hulu and Disney+.
