Prince Harry’s Phone Hacking Claims ‘Absolute B*****ks,’ Claims Reporter

Prince Harry claimed that a story chronicling his love declaration for his ex-girlfriend, Chelsy Davy, was collected through phone hacking. Sam Greenhill, the chief reporter of the Daily Mail, has reportedly branded this allegation “absolute b*****ks” in a court in London. The Daily Mail’s chief reporter allegedly provided the High Court with evidence in the seven claimants’ trial. The seven claimants have reportedly brought legal action against ANL (Associated Newspapers Limited) over claims of “unlawful information gathering.” ANL publishes the Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday. The publisher has allegedly denied the allegations. They have also reportedly been firmly defending the legal case by Sir Elton John, the Duke of Sussex, and others.

Reporter allegedly claims Prince Harry’s phone wasn’t hacked

The chief reporter of the Daily Mail, Sam Greenhill, has reportedly claimed that the allegation brought by Prince Harry regarding the hacking of his phone is absolutely false. The reporter allegedly went on to claim that the Duke of Sussex’s phone was not hacked. As reported by GB News, Barrister David Sherborne has been representing the seven claimants, including Prince Harry.

The Barrister allegedly questioned Sam Greenhill regarding a December 2004 article. The title of the article reportedly was “How Harry fell in love.” Rebecca English, the paper’s now-royal editor, allegedly penned it. According to the news outlet, the piece talked about how Prince Harry expressed parts of his relationship with his former girlfriend, Chelsy Davy, while sitting at a campfire in Botswana.

In the meantime, the London court reportedly heard that reporter Sam Greenhill had to follow up on a tip received by the newsdesk of the Daily Mail. The reporter then allegedly talked to a man over a call. The man was reportedly in the same area in Botswana as the Duke of Sussex. However, during the trial, Barrister David Sherborne allegedly suggested that the alleged phone call “did not take place at all.” The Barrister reportedly alleged that reporter Greenhill had made use of a voicemail interception. “Absolute b*****ks,” the Daily Mail chief reporter branded the allegations.
