Amid her latest domestic abuse investigation, Taylor Frankie Paul has cancelled her visit to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. In light of the bad publicity currently surrounding her, the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star will return another day.
Bachelorette Taylor Frankie Paul’s SLOMW drama continues
ICYMI, production on SLOMW Season 5 has been “paused” following another alleged incident involving Taylor and her ex, Dakota Mortensen. Both Taylor and her baby daddy have been ordered to undergo psychological evaluations.
Apparently, the show’s hiatus was a group decision made by the cast, according to Taylor’s co-star Mikayla Matthews. “We didn’t feel comfortable filming with everything that was happening,” she explained to her followers in her Instagram Stories.
According to TMZ, Taylor was scheduled to visit The Tonight Show to publicize her March 22 premiere as The Bachelorette. While the series is still scheduled to run, it remains to be seen what effect its star’s domestic abuse allegations will have on viewership. It could go either way.
Previously, Taylor faced similar charges in 2023, after another fight with Dakota. After drinking vodka at a girls’ night, Taylor got physical with Dakota. At the time, Dakota told arresting officers that Taylor had hit him and threw objects at him, including wooden toys and a chair. Furthermore, one of her children was in the room at the time and could have been injured.
As part of her plea deal, Taylor was required to take both a parenting class and a class on alcohol. Per a progress report from February 2025, Taylor has been fulfilling the terms of her probation. Though her probation was scheduled to end in August 2026, considering recent events, that date may change.
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 4 is now streaming on Hulu. The Bachelorette Season 22 premieres on March 22 at 8/7c on ABC. It streams the next day on Disney+ and Hulu.
