Bachelorette Suitor Teases ‘Drama’ During Taylor Frankie Paul Season That Won’t Air

The dust of The Bachelorette Season 22 is far from being settled. Right now, all eyes are on the season that was just cancelled by ABC, a decision made for the first time in the entire franchise history. When not thinking about its leading lady, Taylor Frankie Paul, everyone is talking about her contestants.

You know, the 22 men who spent months in a mansion vying for her love? One of them, a lifeguard named Doug Mason, has spoken out in defense of Taylor. He believes that her big moment was taken away from her, and is still on her side.

But, another contestant just spoke out too, and no, he does not share the same sentiment.

Remaining anonymous, one of the contestants of the now-canned season spoke up about his experience. He recalled multiple tense outbursts during filming between Taylor and the cast.

“Not to the point of being violent, but she exploded on a couple of us during the show. I just thought she was leaning into the drama,” he told E! News.

The eligible bachelor also made it clear that he was one of the men who were upset with Taylor for the cancellation.

“We all gave up so much to go do this. We all came in with open hearts. Obviously, the way she acted and the way she treated all of us in hindsight is just a waste of time, a waste of energy, a waste of emotional intelligence.”

They may have another chance at on-screen love through Bachelor in Paradise, but everyone is up in the air.

The Bachelorette is streaming on Hulu and Disney+. Just not Taylor’s season.
