American martial artist and legendary actor Chuck Norris has passed away following a medical emergency. In a statement posted on March 20, his family said: “It is with heavy hearts that our family shares the sudden passing of our beloved Chuck Norris yesterday morning.”

Earlier this week, Chuck was rushed to hospital following a medical emergency in Hawaii. The 86-year-old was on the island of Kauai when the unknown incident occurred.
While it was initially reported that the actor was in “good spirits” and talking to a friend on the phone from his hospital bed, Chuck’s family have since confirmed his passing.
Sharing the sad news in an Instagram post, Chuck’s loved ones reassured fans he was “surrounded by his family and was at peace.”
“To the world, he was a martial artist, actor, and a symbol of strength. To us, he was a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, an incredible brother, and the heart of our family,” his family wrote.
“He lived his life with faith, purpose, and an unwavering commitment to the people he loved,” they went on. “Through his work, discipline, and kindness, he inspired millions around the world and left a lasting impact on so many lives.”
The caption continued: “We know many of you had heard about his recent hospitalization, and we are truly grateful for the prayers and support you sent his way.”
Chuck’s family ended the post by “kindly” asking for “privacy” at this difficult time.
Unsurprisingly, messages of condolence quickly filled the comments section of the post.
“I can’t believe it! You helped shape my childhood as a martial artist!” one person said. “Rest in peace … A legend, an icon, and a lasting inspiration to generations,” added another fan.
Chuck’s cause of death is currently unclear.
