Right to the end, Chuck Norris was a fearsome fighter. His last Instagram post shows the famed martial arts expert and actor still in fighting mood, proving that age is merely a number.
He thanked fans in the video as he showed off his mixed martial arts skills during a sparring session to celebrate his birthday on March 10. He had black belts in karate, taekwondo, Tang Soo Doo, jiu jitsu and judo, earning widespread praise for his remarkable combat skills. Those skills would come in handy for his lengthy career in film and television.
Chuck Norris is dead at 86
Seeing Chuck’s last video is sure to add even more heartache to his endearing fans. In his Instagram video post, Chuck says, “I don’t age, I level up.” You can then see him outside dishing out some blows to a defenceless sparring partner with Chuck in surprisingly great shape.
Sadly, that was the last video we would see of the Walker, Texas Ranger star. Chuck died this week following a medical emergency in Hawaii. He turned 86 on March 10. News of his passing was rather shocking. He was said to be in good spirits following his medical issue. His family, however, confirmed his death on his account, adding that he was surrounded by family. They said that he was at peace. They are asking for privacy while no official cause of death has yet to be revealed.
Fittingly, most of his roles in film and TV were action roles with Chuck in the middle of some epic fights. For nine seasons, he starred as Sergeant Cordell Walker in the show Walker, Texas Ranger. He reprised that role in its 2005 TV movie called Trial by Fire. His final film role was as himself in the Australian action-comedy Zombie Plane.
Chuck leaves behind his wife, Gene O’Kelley and their twins, Dakota and Danilee. He also had three kids from previous relationships, Mike, Dina and Eric.
