On top of the headlines about a certain Bachelorette star and her abuse claims, we’ve learned that Jordan Ngatikaura has filed for divorce from Jessi Ngatikaura after five years of marriage. Has there ever been a reality show with this many crises happening in the same week?

While we were all distracted by the news of Taylor Frankie Paul, and her doomed season of The Bachelorette, Jordan hightailed his way down to a Utah courthouse to file for divorce from Jessi. People confirmed the news, and he released a statement addressing the split.
“This has not been an easy decision, and it comes with a heavy heart,” Jordan said.
“I’m grateful for the shared memories and the lessons,” he continued. “While our paths are now moving in different directions, my priority remains my children and ensuring they feel loved, supported, and protected through this transition. I am committed to handling this next chapter with kindness and respect.”
Of course, SLOMW fans know this marriage has been on life support for a while. Jessi claimed that she had been subjected to “emotional abuse” throughout the relationship, and then that “emotional affair” with Vanderpump Villa star Marciano Brunette.
Last year, the pair agreed to a 90-day separation. Meanwhile, the pair put their house up for sale, and Jessi started using her maiden name on social media. Instead of Jessi Ngatikaura, she started going by Jessi Draper. That should have been a clue that it was only a matter of time before they pulled the plug on this marriage.
It’s unclear if this divorce drama will play out in SLOMW Season 5. The show is currently on pause amid Taylor’s domestic abuse allegations. Perhaps it’s time to pick up cameras without her.
