Bethenny Frankel recently shared her hot take on the latest Bachelorette season drama. The former Real Housewives of New York star bashed the show for casting a star with a problematic past. Now, she’s sharing that she believes the suitors on the never-aired season definitely have a case if they want to sue ABC.
Bethenny Frankel’s outlook for the network isn’t a positive one
The former RHONY star took to Instagram once again to add to her earlier assessment of The Bachelorette debacle. She originally said she didn’t understand why the show would even hire someone with a problematic past.
Now, Bethenny believes the contestants from the show who are thinking about suing would definitely have a case.
“So word on the street is that five contestants from The Bachelorette want to sue, and something painfully obvious dawned on me,” she said in an IG reel. She added that her own dating community, The Core, have let people go for much less than “domestic violence.”
Bethenny said it was insane that the biggest dating platform on the planet would let Taylor Frankie Paul through the vetting process. Especially since they knew about her previous domestic violence charges. She said that the show can’t have it both ways. It can’t be about “finding love,” and then network turns around and casts entertaining, problematic people for the purpose of drama.
“They are kinda f*cked, because there’s no way that the most high-profile matchmakers on the globe would cast someone like that and set those people up to meet that person,” Bethenny said. “That’s f*cked.”
Currently, there is no news about which contestants want to sue. According to TMZ, the contestants of the doomed season were brought together for a meeting and offered consolation prizes for the scrapped show. Some are being invited to Bachelor in Paradise, but fans will have to wait and see who makes the cut.
The Bachelorette is streaming on Hulu and Disney+.
