Donald Trump Posts About ‘America’s Greatest Enemy’

With “the death of Iran,” declared by President Donald Trump, he has also announced who is “America’s Greatest Enemy,” that needs to be dealt with. This comes as the war with Iran continues to escalate, with the midterms just around the corner.

Donald Trump slams Democratic Party in new post

Trump took to Truth Social on Sunday with a sweeping declaration about the state of Iran in the ongoing war. “Now with the death of Iran, the greatest enemy America has is the Radical Left, Highly Incompetent, Democrat Party!” Trump wrote. As of now, the Democratic Party hasn’t responded to this backlash. However, they have maintained their stance in condemning the Iran War and its effects on the nation.

The president’s assertion that Iran has already fallen follows his Saturday night threat demanding that Iran fully open the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours. “If Iran doesn’t FULLY OPEN, WITHOUT THREAT, the Strait of Hormuz, within 48 HOURS from this exact point in time, the United States of America will hit and obliterate their various POWER PLANTS, STARTING WITH THE BIGGEST ONE FIRST!” Trump wrote.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards issued a statement on Sunday declaring they will completely shut the Strait of Hormuz if Trump follows through on threats to target Iranian energy facilities. Roughly a fifth of the world’s oil transited through the strait last year, but Iran’s willingness to attack transport vessels has virtually halted traffic.

Iran’s representative to the U.N.’s International Maritime Agency, Ali Mousavi, said “diplomacy remains Iran’s priority,” according to the semi-official Mehr news agency. He added that Israeli and U.S. attacks against Iran were at the “root of the current situation in the Strait of Hormuz.”

Iran launched missiles at two southern Israeli cities on Saturday night, targeting areas near the country’s main nuclear research center. Iran’s state-affiliated Tasnim news agency confirmed the missile attacks served as retaliation for Israel’s recent strike on Iran’s nuclear site at Natanz (via NPR).
