Joseph Duggar’s Wife Kendra Also Charged as New Counts Revealed by Police

Joseph Duggar is currently living in a jail cell at the Washington County Detention Center in Arkansas. Soon, this 19 Kids and Counting star will be extradited to Florida, where he will face charges of lewd and lascivious behavior with a minor. This case is already horrific enough. But then, the police arrested his wife, Kendra Duggar, so now, all eyes are on this conservative Christian family.

Online, Kendra and Joseph present as doting, loving parents. But, in real life, they are both facing disgusting charges against children. As for Joseph, in 2020, he took a vacation to Florida. While there, he reportedly encountered a 9-year-old girl traveling with her family.

According to investigators, Joseph asked this child to “sit next to him on a couch and covered them with a blanket. During this time, Duggar manipulated the victim’s underwear and grazed her genitals. Duggar would also continue to rub his hands on her thighs.” After, “The victim stated Duggar eventually apologized for his actions, and the incidents stopped after the apology.”

Due to Florida’s strict child molestation laws, Joseph could actually spend the rest of his life behind bars. As for Kendra, police are formally charging her with four counts of endangering the welfare of a minor in the second degree and four counts of false imprisonment in the second degree, according to PEOPLE. Her first hearing was this morning. She is due in court again on April 29 at 2:00 p.m.

Joseph’s brother, Josh Duggar, is also behind bars. In 2022, courts found him guilty of downloading child pornography files. Josh will remain in prison until 2032. As for Joseph and Kendra, their case remains active and ongoing in Arkansas.
