Fans of a hit TV series are mourning a devastating loss. Supernatural ran for 15 seasons, quickly generating a huge fan base while becoming a cult classic. Although Carrie Anne Fleming had a small role in the show, her time as Jim Beaver’s wife is still remembered to this day.
Carrie studied drama at the Kaleidoscope Theatre and the Kidco Theatre Dance Company in Victoria, British Columbia, years ago. Her determination to find work in the competitive industry led her to land small roles on shows like Happy Gilmore and Viper. She was going through breast cancer.

Horror seemed to suit Carrie perfectly. Before landing her famous role as Karen Singer on Supernatural, she landed parts in The Tooth Fairyand Bloodsuckers. You might also remember her from the series iZombie, where she portrayed Candy Baker for 12 episodes. A representative for Carrie confirmed her death to People.
Carrie died in her native Canada, succumbing to her cancer on February 26. Her TV husband from Supernatural wrote a moving tribute to her on Facebook. “The electricity between us was practically visible,” said Jim. “She was a powerhouse of vitality and goodwill and amazingly good nature,” he added. Jim admits that his bond with Carrie turned romantic, but the distance between them made dating long term impossible. She lived in Canada, whereas he resided in California. Carrie passed away peacefully surrounding by her close family. Her representative called her a “beautiful soul, inspiring, and above all, kind.” She adds that Carrie will be greatly missed.
While Supernatural didn’t capture any Emmy Awards during its lengthy run on television, it got plenty of fan awards from its loyal following. In December the cast reunited for season five of The Boys. Supernatural was named Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy Show multiple times at the People’s Choice Awards. Meanwhile, both Jensen Ackles and Misha Collins previously took home People’s Choice Awards for Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV actors. Carrie leaves behind one daughter named Madalyn Rose. She was 51.
