Tom Brady Teases Another Shock NFL Return

One of the greatest to ever play in the NFL may want another kick at the can. Tom Brady has football fans buzzing about another potential return to the gridiron. The seven-time Super Bowl champion recently took part in a Flag Football Classic sponsored by Fanatics.

The NFL on Fox analyst had an illustrious career, guiding the New England Patriots to six Super Bowl titles. He went on to win one with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. On three occasions, he was named the league MVP, while leading in passing yards four times.

Could Tom Brady un-retire once again?

He’s done it before, and now many are wondering if he will again, play football that is. Tom first announced his retirement from football in 2022. Just over a month after that, he announced that he’d be coming back. He went 8-9 as the Bucs starter in 2022, leading them to a loss to the Dallas Cowboys in their first playoff game. During the off-season, he posted a video declaring that he was retiring “for good.”

A recent post on X, however, suggests he may still want to play. Tom responded to a video of him playing in that flag football game, saying, “Gets you thinking…” In the video, the 48-year-old still looks to be in good shape, avoiding a sack before hitting Stefon Diggs for a touchdown pass. That, according to the NFL Network, was the G.OA.T’s first play in a competitive football game in over 1,000 days. Flag football is coming to the Olympics in 2028…

In January, Tom discussed who he’d like to see play him in a movie. Leonardo DiCaprio was among those on his mind. Among others reportedly interested in the role are Boston natives Matt Damon and Mark Wahlberg.
