There’s another massive twist is unfolding in the Nancy Guthrie case. Information is surfacing about what transpired at Savannah Guthrie’s mother’s home in the weeks leading up to her disappearance. The latest has investigators believing there was some “strange activity” at Nancy’s home in Tucson, Arizona on January 11.
This information has raised more eyebrows in this case as the search for the 84-year-old continues. As it turns out, her alleged kidnapping may not have been a spur-of-the-moment occurrence.
Savannah Guthrie’s mom has been missing for almost two months

There may have been signs that something bad was going to happen to Nancy. In an interview with KOLD News on Monday, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos discussed the new findings. “We do believe that something occurred on Jan. 11,” said Chris. He say that they made this discovery thanks to the FBI’s equipment analysis and all the digital work they’ve done. While this seems to be another break in the case, Chris did not elaborate as to exactly what might have transpired on that date.
Police continue to seek out a suspect in this mysterious case. In February, Nancy’s daughter, Savannah, a famed TV anchor, posted FBI footage of the kidnapping suspect to her social media account. The Today Show host has offered up a $1 million reward in this case. Nancy is said to have a frail heart and is apparently without her medication.
It has been nearly two months since Nancy was last seen, but Chris remains optimistic they will find her. He assured people that the case has not gone cold. Thousands of leads are reportedly being examined by the FBI regarding this matter. Chris says that, for the moment, much of the information they receive is purely speculative.
Chris previously said there is DNA in this case that they believe will help them crack it. Nancy was last seen with her daughter Annie having dinner on January 31. The following day, Nancy missed her usual church service, prompting her to be reported missing.
