After an intense weekend, Alan Ritchson is happy to share some exciting news. The actor posted a reel online about the upcoming season of Reacher. He noted how he previously experienced a “crazy week.”
Much of the conversation surrounding Alan of late is regarding his viral confrontation with a neighbor. Things between the TV star and Ronnie Taylor got ugly last week. Ronnie took issue with how fast Alan was allegedly going in the residential area in Tennessee. He confronted Alan about it, stopping him in the middle of the street to tell him off. That led to a fight with Ronnie, suffering a beating at the hands of the actor.
The Reacher star was found to be acting in self-defense
It sounds like Alan has put his neighborly confrontation behind him. On Instagram, he shared that season four of Reacher had just wrapped. He says that it will be the “best season yet.” In the series, Alan plays a military officer who prefers to live the life of a drifter. From February 7-13, 2022, it was one of the most-streamed TV shows according to the Nielsen streaming rankings.
Alan can rest easy knowing he can focus on promoting the new season of his show rather than any legal issues. That’s because police cleared him of any wrongdoing in the altercation with Ronnie. Bodycam footage revealed that Ronnie ran into the street to give Alan a piece of his mind. Witnesses say Alan was trying to diffuse the situation, but Ronnie kept egging him on. Evidently police agreed, saying Alan’s actions were in self-defense.
The incident involving Alan took place in the Nashville suburb of Brentwood. Ronnie previously said he’s an avid motorcycle rider like Alan, and that he just wanted him to be safe. He claims that Alan had ridden his motorcycle in that area at dangerous speeds before.
Season four of Reacher will stream on Prime Video later this year.
