Cardi B Wants To Ensure Her Kids Can Be Proud of Her Legacy

Four months after welcoming her fourth baby, Cardi B opened up about the legacy she plans to leave behind for her kids in an interview with Allure. March has been rather busy for the songstress, as she is currently on her Little Miss Drama Tour and also promoting her haircare brand, Grow-Good.

Cardi B opens up about working hard for her kids in new interview

Cardi B shares three children, Kulture, Wave, and Blossom, with ex-husband, Offset. In November 2025, she welcomed her fourth kid, her first with Steffon Diggs. An interview with Allure, published on March 24, noted that the “Bodak Yellow” singer works this hard because of her kids.

It mentioned that she wants to “ensure her legacy, to provide for her family, to make them proud of her.” Reflecting on her future as a grandmother, the rapper said, “I want to be the grandma that everybody come to the crib, and it’s like, ‘Yeah, my grandma was that b***h.'” Given her impressive career and massive net worth, which she is still building, her grandchildren will undoubtedly know how iconic she is.

During an appearance on the March 24 episode of TODAY With Jenna & Friends, Cardi B shared thoughtful advice with a fan seeking guidance on handling a parenting disagreement with their own mother. She began, “Sometimes, my mom and I be having a little shuffle because sometimes, I want my daughter and all my kids to do after school tutoring, piano, gymnastics, sports.”

Cardi said her mother insists the kids are tired after school, noting they also get tired after using the iPad for an hour. She explained, “I do understand because I see my kids are sleepy after their school, but you’re going to regret that you don’t know how to do one of these activities when you get older.” She also joked that all she had was “bad blood pressure with four kids and mama nagging.”
