Ciara and her husband, Russell Wilson, along with their kids, recently caught attention. The couple and their two children attended the Fashion Scholarship Fund gala on Monday. When the interviewers asked the pair why they had brought the kids to the event, the singer’s answer was noteworthy. She mentioned that she and her NFL quarterback husband wanted their offspring to be “inspired.”

For those unversed, the 40-year-old has a son, Future Zahir Wilburn, with rapper Future. Later, she married Wilson and had two daughters, Sienna and Amora, and one son, Win.

Ciara shares why she and husband were accompanied by their kids to gala event

Ciara and her husband, Russell Wilson, recently attended a gala with their kids. Future (11) and Sienna (8) accompanied their parents to the Fashion Scholarship Fund event on March 23. The family posed for the cameras with big smiles. They were sticking close together throughout the ceremony, which took place at The Glasshouse in New York City.

While they were posing for photos at the welcome carpet, USA Today asked the parents why it was important for the children to join them at the gala. Ciara looked at Future, who was beaming with excitement, and said that it was “fun.” The 11-year-old cut off his mother mid-sentence and leaned forward to share his thoughts. He said, “Yep, a lot of fun and a lot of energy.”

Seeing her brother’s reaction, Sienna couldn’t hold it in. She seemed to have figured out what Future was trying to point out. Playfully, the celebrity couple’s daughter replied, “Yeah, I have a lot of energy, that’s why he said that, I’m crazy!” Her response made Ciara and others laugh.

Continuing the conversation, the doting mother added, “True, they have a lot of energy, but it makes us so happy that they can see us in moments like this, you know, because they are the future.” Furthermore, the songwriter stated that she and her husband would want the kids to be “inspired in rooms like this,” where they could watch their parents work.
