Lindsie Chrisley and her boyfriend, David Landsman, are officially engaged! And it looks like the Southern Tea podcast’s soon-to-be-hubby honored an old-fashioned tradition when he asked for her hand. David asked for Lindsie’s dad, Todd Chrisley’s, permission to marry his (estranged) little girl.

David shared an Instagram story showcasing Lindsie’s new engagement ring on Monday. The photo was very domestic. It looked like it was taken in the kitchen. David is holding Lindsie’s hand and showing off her rock.
In the post, David wrote the caption, “@toddchrisley, may I have your daughter’s hand in marriage?”
This is a little surprising because Lindise has been estranged from her dad and the Chrisley family since they suspected that she spoke to the FBI and helped federal investigators lock Todd and wife Julie Chrisley up for tax evasion and bank fraud in 2022.
Todd and Julie were sentenced to prison until they received presidential pardons in 2025. However, things between them and Lindsie didn’t appear to improve upon their release. Savannah Chrisley, in particular, has painted Lindsie the villain more than once.
For her part, Lindsie appears to be at odds with the family, too. In 2025, she even changed her last name to Landsman. People thought she was married to David then, but as it turns out, Lindsie was just stepping away from the family drama, hence the name change.
Now, though, it’s going to be official! And with David tagging Todd’s IG account online, could it be possible that Lindsie and Todd are mending fences? Perhaps we’ll find out at the wedding.
